MLP FiM S3E3 Too Many Pinkies Review
Okay, let me preface this by saying that I liked this episode. A LOT. The idea of a hoard of Pinkie Pies running all over Ponyville with their brand of zany, over the top excitability brought a whole bunch of images into my mind, not the least of which was the reaction of the townsfolk upon seeing this. I enjoyed seeing how her friends dealt with the problem all of these clones put them in, as well as Pinkie's own existential crisis as it unfolded. This was a good episode, and I heartily recommend it.
And now onto ransack and pillage this episode for every critique I can find.

Let's start right at the beginning with the premise. Now, having been an avid consumer of popular culture in my day, I was quite a big fan of the oft-lauded comic "Calvin and Hobbes." There was one particular story arc they did in that comic where Calvin takes his trademark cardboard box and uses it as a duplicator in order to

Before any of you get up in arms and start humiliating yourselves in the comments section, I would like to clarify something; yes I am a brony. I watch the show and am somewhat active in the fanbase, so just deal with it, yo. I don't want any hatred to follow this review, and I certainly don't want anyone to be humiliated or put-down by anyone else. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 3 Episode 9 "Spike at your Service" Review
*sigh* You know, I hate getting put into positions like this. I really like this show, and I am somewhat active in the fanbase, but this week's episode… eugh. It wasn't just the hackneyed plotline or the rather stupid humor of it, but the fact that it was THIS show that was making these pitfalls and mistakes. Well, let's get this over with, I suppose.

Now, before I open up the bile valve, I have two positive notes. First, this episode was the first time that they have ever used CGI in this show, and I must say that it meshed well with the established art style (although it's gonna play hell with the fan artists). Secondly, I enjoyed the fact that they gave Spike and AJ some more screen time, as they have been really lacking. I don't think Spike has had an episode to himself since "Secret of my Excess", so
