We both agreed to return to the restaurant first, just to be sure everypony else was alright before returning to the town proper. I was expecting to see utter destruction, so you can only imagine my relief upon seeing that the restaurant was unharmed.

We landed at a gallop and ran into the restaurant, much to the surprise of the patrons and staff alike. Everything looked pretty much as we had left it, and a calming wave of relief rushed over my mind. Fluttershy looked just about as relieved as I was that her friends were alright, at least for now.

The road down Lily Street was slick with rainwater, the Canterlot pegasi having decided to schedule a rainstorm for that evening. Not that it was really needed in a big city, but that was of no concern to the lone hooded figure walking in the nighttime gloom, illuminated only by the few street lamps that he happened to pass. It was a slow day at the Ponyville Cantina, the first they had had all week. There were a few of the usual barflies there, sitting in the booth and rambling on about one thing or another, as well as one purple pony with a grape cluster and strawberry cutie mark nursing a bottle of wine at the other end of the bar. Other than that it was just me, sitting on the barstool farthest from the door, staring into my mug.

Just some interlude stuff between various drawing projects. Here, have some more of my OC! While I'm at it, here's some biographical stuff for him as well!

Silver Stroke is a native of Fillydelphia, but often finds himself longing for a slower paced pastoral life. He is a budding film and theatre critic, but often gets a lot of stink from other critics for not being as harsh as they are. Whenever he isn't busy writing up a review he can often be found hanging out with friends or relaxing up in the clouds. He owns a small apartment in the city, and has a pet cat that he named Regina.

God, I need to get back on my stories...

Another thing: Save your pictures as .png files. If I'm not mistaken that should prevent his hair from blurring. :3

Looking awesome! I think the next step you should try with drawing are gradients in the eyes. The top is always a shade darker and it gets brighter to the bottom. Gives them a very nice effect :)
